I've been following you for a while silently. Your work is fantastic. I love the concept. This one begs the question to be answered... Is the Stairway to Heaven lead by Capt. Beefheart?
ReplyDeleteFunny. Since his passing I've revisited Don Van Vliet/Captain Beefheart quite a bit. A Beefheart song like "Flavor Bud Living" exemplifies to me just how good he was at sharing his world with us(with the help of the incredible musicians he was working with).As much as I like Page songs I tend to think his notes are a bit less surprising and for that I dare say less satisfying.
